Lion King

We went to see an Autism friendly matinee of The Lion King today.

It was a fantastic show and it didn't matter that I'd never seen the film! The set and the costumes were astounding. It was excellent.

(Not so) little one enjoyed the journey there and back. He loves public tramsport and the underground trains. He managed to stay in the auditorium for most of the show. He struggled to relax and pulled my hair quite a lot but on the whole he was ok. Better than I had expected to be honest.

Our older son thoroughly enjoyed himself.

There was an added bonus of bumping into some old friends too.

We had a quiet meal beforehand in Pizza Express. It always helps to have somewhere reliably predictable in every town!
