Walking and Exploring

I decided to go walking today. I really wanted to and decided that I would do it whatever the weather. Just as well i said that as it wasn't long after I headed off that it began raining. It added to the challenge though.

There is something really nice about getting outdoors. Obviously there's the flora and fauna plus the views. There's also the fresh air and the chance to think clearly. I also reminisced about the good times over the last year. It all made me smile. Just what I need.

A few difficult decisions ahead including my accommodation. My mates place would be nice for a while but it wouldn't be fair to stay at his for long. I'll want my own place quite soon. Somewhere I can have my son stay over plus anyone else who cares to visit. I firmly believe I'm doing the right thing by the way. Is that positive affirmation? :)

About the photo....This waterfall(?) fed a much larger one just a little further down. I couldn't get a good photo of that one but this one had a lovely feel to it. There is something very nice about the noise of the rushing water.

A few short hours later I was on the top of the mountain. Twmbarlwm. No photo unfortunately, other than the one I took of the mist lowering visibility to about 50m! :)

I did spot that there's a walking club in Cardiff. They went out today but I saw that info to late. Next time me thinks.
