Wootton Bassett (Sunday 3rd June 2018)

I was successful this afternoon in seeing a water vole swim along the canal at Wootton Bassett with a waterlily leaf between its teeth and disappear into the reeds near some nest holes, though I didn't manage to get any pictures. I walked up to the second footbridge and back photographing the wildflowers growing along the banks and didn't see any more watervoles.
