Bird Watcher

A couple of days ago there was squawking and a commotion in the garden. The next minute, Jeeves appeared with a fledgling bird. The poor thing was half dead and died within a couple of minutes. I think it was the day for the baby birds to attempt to fly from the nest in a tree at the top of my drive. It was upsetting but nature. Everything calmed down and then, half an hour later, Jeeves appeared with another bird. This one survived so I put it out of reach and haven't seen it since so I hope it's ok. Of course Jeeves is just doing his job and is in his element now that he's managed to flush a couple of real birds out of the hedge! He's obsessed with watching out for them now!
