Last Rowing Regatta

It was a splendid, warm, windless, fall day for the last rowing regatta of the year. Some years the weather is so bad(windy) it has to be cancelled, which is a shame because more and more people come each year from all over for this event (that we gave up years ago when it was less crowded..) Went for a walk with a friend (and camera) so have many gorgeous photos of fall colors and leaves and boats of all sorts, but I couldn't resist this one of our busy rowing club dock - the seniors are just coming in while the juniors are going out to race. But the main attraction for this particular photo is those yellow and black polka dotted shorts! (on one of the seniors, NOT the juniors...)
Watched Nik's soccer game and had some neighbors that are moving over for a farewell drink. The African birds will be ready tomorrow for flickr.....
