Three!

Still trying to catch up with myself so I've posted for yesterday and today - so it's a two blip day  but both of them are poppies! 
Three poppies open this morning! 
I tried going to the allotment but went to the local garden centre first to get some kale seeds, suet balls for the birds and strawberries for me! Well I didn't get strawberries as apparently the cold snap killed  the flowers, no more for two weeks! I also decided to buy trays of kale, I have no more room at home for bringing on seedlings! My bench is full of broccoli, flower sprouts, cabbage, sprouts and wall flowers as it is! Plus more trays of tomatoes, herbs and zinnia in trays on the ground! I did buy 2 plants for my newly cleared front garden and a Daphne called Eternal fragrance! Much smaller, lighter green leaves and a repeat flowerer - ideal! 
So off to the allotment with all this plus marigold, sunflower and more squash all now big enough to go in the ground! However once I'd unloaded the car and emptied my kitchen compost bin,  my stomach started going swirly. I needed to eat! I had taken up snacks but decided I needed a proper meal so went home! I thought I'd go up early eve and plant before the hens bedtime, but a nasty headache meant all  I managed was the hens bedtime!
