Date Palms

It's that time again! Female Palm trees are producing fruit which will soon be picked. It's interesting to see all the different types of dates hanging on trees - some green, some yellow, some brown. There are even red ones.

Another full day; G finished around 11, so it gave time to prepare for some things later in the week. We should have had a meeting with the web developer but it's been postponed.

As the evening was now free, we decided to go out around sunset. The Last Exit was the chosen destination. It was not very busy as it was just after Iftar. G must have had a burst of energy as she reckoned it would be good to go cruising and see what's happening in Jumeirah (on the other side of town). We actually had the chance to check out a new road near the Four Seasons Hotel.

I had noticed a new development jutting out in the sea and couldn't work out what it was. We found out today, it is Bvlgari Resort and Jumeirah Bay. Very impressive and you don't have to drive out all the way to the Palm to get views of the mainland from the sea. :)
