Mistle Thrushes

I had a  lovely afternoon walk up a path to open moorland and saw these Mistle Thrushes gathering food for their youngsters.

The Curlew must have had young near as they did everything they could to keep me walk up the hill away from them.

Meadow Pipits were everywhere with plenty of food in their mouths as well.

Some beautiful flowers trackside flowers ( Red Campion and Foxgloves)  and some farm fields were  full of buttercups and clover.

Butterflies included firsts for the year Small Copper and Painted Lady
