Rydal Beck
Finding a good landscape subject to photograph at the moment is quite a challenge. Sunrise is at an ungodly hour, sunset is nearly bedtime and the light in the middle of the day too harsh. After yesterday's Ingleton experience I went in search of some flowing water in woodland. Wasn't easy either as the rivers are very low. On a whim wandered up through the woodland at Rydal Hall and this was perfect - enough water to be interesting and enough tree canopy to soften the light. Rydal Beck flows through the woodland in a series of cascades and waterfalls and I was almost spoilt for choice. Another in extras.
