Echos of the Past

The second day of my (Chris) work conference at Mercedes Benz World, based at the site of the old Brooklands motor racing circuit. We finished at 4pm this afternoon to enable those that had trains and planes to catch, to get away promptly. I dropped a couple of colleagues at Weybridge railway station and then headed back to the old circuit to see if I could get a photo of any of the remains of the old circuit banking. I did have to briefly hop over a low fence and ignore a "Private - Keep Out" sign to get this view but I wasn't the only one as I saw a couple of school boys actually sat up on the top of the banking! Quite hard to imagine the cars racing around on this old concrete now.
