Merinos on the move

The bite in the air had finally lifted on the run today, but the snow was still hanging around on some parts of the road and of course around the tops.

Approaching Forest Creek I ran into this very typical High Country scene - Merino sheep being moved up the valley for a bit of time in the yards. 

The dogs kept these girls well marshalled, even if a few of the impressive rams in amongst them kept on trying to give some of the ewes a push. 

Well, at least I think that's what they were doing ;-)
