Man at Work....

An umbrella was needed for our early morning walk. It was very cold and quite heavy rain set in... it must have been snowing nearby. Meanwhile back at the car parking area the contractors were preparing to repair the damage created by the recent flood flow which had knocked out the Omaka Ford. Here shingle and rocks are being moved into position. It is hoped that the river will behave itself and allow the works to be finished.
