Solitary....

I took a brief break in a busy day and visited the lake at the Taylor Dam. This solitary black swan was quietly feeding. It has not yet paired up with a partner or else its partner is busy nesting. There are a number of swans serenely sitting on their nests on tiny islands on the lake. There are lots of ducks, coots, shags and swans on the water and fantails flitting about in the trees. A truly tranquil place to visit.
