Some planting around the Civic Centre.

The Incredible Edible campaign started in Todmorden, and has a Salford “chapter”. It’s all about encouraging people to grow - and eat fresh - vegetables. These two small raised beds are going to need some watering in the current warm, dry spell.

And in front of the interestingly named “Innovation House”, some interesting planting. These perennials were transplanted last year. They were part of the Bridgewater Canal garden at RHS Tatton. I like this display - a welcome change from the usual civic pansies and begonias.
