Roadside exuberance

The cow parsley has gone, so now we have the daisies. All along the roadside they have such a cheery presence. Just a couple more weeks and they will all be mown down by the council.
Mowing here today too, as Normous has cut the grass. He has found someone to come regularly to cut hedges and do difficult gardening but maybe he will continue to care for his lawn. We have coped for fifty years with our garden but the time has come to get help.
