Toadflax

I bought a pretty little plant at a church sale many years ago, little imagining that it was a prolific self seeder! It goes everywhere! Not only in the flower beds but on the gravel path and under the hedges. I do leave a lot of the plants because they are so pretty, but it is a constant battle to keep them under control.
I have been dead heading roses today. It seems no time at all since we were greeting the first gorgeous blooms. Now I must give them some feed to encourage the second flowering. Meanwhile Normous is engrossed in the England South Africa rugby match.
