Doggy Paddle
I took Ollie dog for a walk around Seventy Acres Lake in the Lee Valley Park this morning to see how she would get on with people and other dogs. Parking charges have recently been introduced and consequently we saw hardly any people apart from two huge groups of high-spirited primary school children in high vis jackets. One shouted, "Look, that's an attack dog." I told them that she's very gentle and she stood sensibly as they went past. She didn't bat an eyelid at a pair of cyclists or at a very shapely woman jogging.
Eventually we a met a woman with a black Pug. Ollie gave a little growl but then got over it. The woman was very kind to her. The only other dog we saw was this Labrador who adores swimming. We watched him go in repeatedly to retrieve his ball. His master was kind to Ollie as well but typically for a German Shepherd she was a bit aloof. I was very pleased with her behaviour.
I didn't take many pics, the highlight of Day8 #30DaysWild was listening to the nightingales singing.
