Drama Queens!

Dear Diary,

We are all so happy to see the sun finally return.  It is a glorious morning of blue skies, sunshine and birdsong.  The sun on the Rhododendrons and Columbine was so dramatic...like  little stars shining in the spotlight.  Their stage run is short but they take advantage of every moment.

Yesterday afternoon it was rather perfect too and I pottered around the garden most of the day.  The scent of the locust blooms is amazing now and they are alive with buzzing bees.  Dragonflies dart here and there having a feast on the last of the black flies.  Horatio is nibbling the grass that is waiting patiently to be cut and Rosie and all the other chippies are playing tag by the patio.  The Japanese Iris is emerging and it won't be long until my Peonies bloom.  All is right in my little world this morning.
