Hubble bubble

Beehive maintenance continues. It's been a slightly tedious week cleaning up sticky, messy hive parts but the end is in sight. Brood frames boiling in washing soda in the Burco definitely do not look appealing, but after a good rinse, they come out looking fine. A quick dry laid on the dead rosemary bush and I can start to stow them away. It will all be worth it.
The cast swarm is still in the apple tree but I remain resolved to leave them there. They spat on my hive!
