Koutouloufari Village

We had a lay in before collecting our friends from Heraklion Airport, about thirty minutes away, who are staying in Koutouloufari for a fortnight. They live in the next village to us back home and look after our house when we're away. We met them for the first time in Crete in May 2003 and have been good friends ever since, often going away together.

As a result we haven't been far today and will be meeting them to eat out in a local restaurant tonight. They've stayed in the village a couple of times previously.

The two blipfoto's are a hundred metres of our room in Koutouloufari.  The main is of The Old Well and the extra is where the village post box was but it's been moved from the front of this lovely old derlelict building in the very heart of the village. Very colourful and rustic. I've induced film grain from Camera Bag in both photographs.
