Ravdoucha Sunset
After getting a few essentials from Lidl in Maleme, Crete (where we stayed in 2003) we travelled to Ravdoucha. It's about 20 minutes drive from our apartment on the other side of the peninsula.
We returned to our apartment for a tea time salad and freshen up; we got back there about 8pm to watch the sunset. Although there are no white-washed buildings it reminds me of Santorini with the views over the Caldera.
The blipfoto is of the sun setting with the cliff top church bell tower making a magnificent foreground subject. The sunsets in Santorini are fabulous and its good here. We travelled on down to the harbour where a goose was on the sand watching the sun go down! (if you don't believe me see the blip extra)
