coveting a zoom

It was supposed to rain all day. It didn't, but it was typical summer here:  hot, humid, lots of mosquitoes. I got some shots of a deer that would have been wonderful if I had a longer zoom. With cropping, the deer is too noisy. A Fujinon 100-400 lens is ... dear. I did discover an app in the wee hours this morning that converts a picture to a drawing. 

I've seen wonderful films with smart phones, Filmic Pro, and the DJI Osmo Mobile 2 gimbal. I tried to learn how to use the gimbal today. It will take time. There will be protests on Thursday evening. It would be nice if I could get it functional by then.
