Wash

Early morning walk to make sure Flash gets his exercise before the heat arrives. Sadly he can't swim any more but he does like going to the stream and at least be handed a stick to show he would if he could. Luna though can't get enough. The stream at this point is pretty shallow but there is a pool large enough for her to immerse.

Regular swimming would be good for her and we really ought to take her to the nearby lakes but there is so much confusion as to where if at all, one can let a dog swim.

Been another great day - yesterday evening a short evening session of nearby thunder but no rain. Today was thunderstorm free but every day the German Weather Service issues warnings for our area. This strange weather system means the storms are very local and cannot be predicted as the normal summer storms that brew up over the Alps in the evenings and move northwards.

Another two days of storms forecast but then on Wednesday at long last a change in the weather patterns with fresh air coming from the west. It will apparently even drop below 20°C for a day or two.
