Duff Eye...

Nice one Amberelli...just get glass cleaner in your already buggered eye!

Well it's funny because I was doing Bron's cleaning bags and refilling the bottles with glass cleaner to go in each of the bags. I'd already been spilling the glass cleaner as it was going into the bottles, all over my hands. There was a massive bubble in the top on the bottle, I squeezed the bottle and popped the bubble into my eye. Then I did the whole: 'arghhhh it's in my eye' and proceeded to rub my eye with my already drenched hands, rubbing even more glass cleaner into my eye.

So I've spent the night waiting in our crappy One Life Centre (which is not an A&E but a minor injury centre) who no nothing about anything. I've had lots of stuff put in my eye, my pH level tested, an eye test done, drops and cream put into my eye, they looked into my eye and all the usual shabang. Then they brought everyone else in to look into my eye because they'd never seen anyone with a lens implant.

Funnily enough I'm at the RVI in Newcastle tomorrow for what would be my normal checkup on my eye so will get them to check my eye again for any damage done by the glass cleaner. What a night. I'm sat here after midnight doing this blip with an eye that feels twice the size it should be and I'm getting a train to the hospital in 8 and a half hours...
