30 Days Wild Day 10 - Black Slug.

Our last day with ArcaneSpark and family.  As we were setting off back soon after lunch we spent the morning in the garden before going to the Lock Keeper for a bar lunch and then heading home.

Clearly on such a day the opportunities for wild blips were severely restricted.  So seeing this Black Slug crawling across the tarmac I too a shot.  Black Slug seems to be  a fairly obvious name but it also seems to be the accepted common name for Arion ater.

An interesting point about the "Black Slug" is it can be any colour from white through brown to black.  The higher the latitude the darker the slug.
