African violet
I re-potted African violets this morning. It's always a bit more difficult than I remember it to be as it involves preparing the plants and setting them in the new pot whilst the weight of the leaves fights against you somewhat. I should probably have removed the flowers from this one, but it's one of the best I've got and they're re-appearing after a long wait. I had the plant in a too dimly lit situation and it has only just started to re-flower now the summer light is strong enough. It's a very pretty pinwheel violet but is hard to propagate from as the striped flowers won't come true from leaf cuttings. Once it has settled down I'll try some more flower stem cuttings, but they almost always fail.
