Fresh green shoots

In the office for a few hours then off to the Scottish Government buildings for a meeting of the Children’s Hearings Improvement Partnership. Good discussions, including one about how we respond effectively and sustainably to the year of a young People so that we don’t just do things in 2018 but embed new ways of working into the future.

The discussion resonated with the presentation from Fiona on the Independent Review of Care and the next 6 stages of their journey.

I then attended a meeting with a range of. Colleagues for a discussion, amongst other things, on how we might best conduct an appreciative enquiry.

This was followed by the AGM of the SG Gardening and Craft Club of which I am Chair ( this is my 30th year!). Sorted out plans for this year’s show in August, and agreed the show schedule for 2019.

One of our members brought along surplus plants which would otherwise be heading for the compost heap. More planting this weekend!
