Regatta

Another very busy day, added to by the regatta.
Many of the villages around the shores of the Firth of Forth build, crew and race their own long rowboats. By prior arrangement, they arrived on the North beach today along with various hangers-on and settled down for picnics and changes of crews. Also arriving were my mate Sam,and blipper Parsfan, with Mrs Him, and the lads. With 8 scheduled ferries and only three stewards (one of whom had somehow managed to lock himself out of the till!) it meant I didn't have much time to chat, sadly.
