Waiting on Dad

As far as I have observed, sand-hill crane parents are generally very alert, and quite attentive to their babies. I saw 2 different families today, and the toddlers wait patiently while mom and dad find some worms and grubs, and give the goodies to them.

For the first time in a few weeks, I had enough "keepers" to have a Flickr set. 32 PICTURES! All were taken at Kensington Metro Park. Swans, deer, tufted titmice eating out of my hand, horses, sheep, and the ten piglets that I took a couple weeks back. (It was a hard Blip choice.)
