A Wood Watermelon Wedge

A few years back, we were sitting around the campfire at my brother-in-laws place up North...when I saw the wedge of wood. I said to Lisa..."I think I could make something out of that."

She gave me "the look", then said..."You mean...like all the other stuff you drag home?" Ouch.

What can I tell you about the slice?
1. Since there was no cutting...I didn't have to be precise.
2. Since I stole it...the price was nice.
3. The way it turned out, I'm glad I didn't listen to Lisa's advice.

To give an idea of scope...across the top of the slice...it measures 14 inches.
