Looking through the Olive Grove

We were hoping to do a fair amount of walking this holiday but it seems some of the tracks are not so accessible now. Still we will see. Today we were heading to what is described as a beautiful beach only accessible by walking. Unfortunately we took the wrong path out of the village after passing alongside this view of the large olive trees growing in this area. As we had intended to visit the further beaches it wasn’t a problem. There were beautiful views across the bay to Paleokastritsa. We ended up at a very small beach called Limni. The sea was apparently warmer here but l didn’t venture in as the pebbles were too difficult for me to get in easily. Must buy some water shoes. We were just relaxing when a small boat with tourists turned up. At this point the beach was crowded. They didn’t stay too long though.

An easy return to our accommodation gave us time to catch up with some other tourists who like us are interested mainly in walking. Sharing our walk finds could prove useful.
