Corfu town

We decided to take the bus to Corfu Town or Kerkyra as it is known locally. An enjoyable day with lots of walking as we explored the two forts, the Palace of SS Michael and George where this blip was taken and wandered through the small streets of the old town. The town was in the hands of the Italians for around 400 years so there are some beautiful examples of Italian architecture. Some extra shots taken from the old fort - Paleo Frourio and the streets are included in extras.

Thunderstorms later in the evening kept us eating out very locally.
