King Ludwig the 2nd

It was raining, really raining, very hard. However, we were booked on the 10:25 tour at Neuschwanstein Castle, the iconic one on many jigsaw puzzles. Armed with rain geer we headed off getting soaked to the skin along the way. In the afternoon, another tour, this time the Linderhof Palace, the only complete home of Ludwig 2nd. Most of us preferred this one. Both were opulent if not a little ostentatious, but still marvellous.
