Garden outing

I joined some friends on a garden trip today to Sudeley Castle... it is a place l have been to on several occasions in the past but only to the garden.  It was looking splendid today and we had a lovely warm day to wander among the roses and beautiful gardens.  There were quite a lot of weeds among the rose beds which was a surprise  since you would imagine the effort to be focussed on them while the roses are at their best.  However we had a lovely day, a tasty salad for lunch and a rather too short visit inside the house which was fascinating and full of treasures.. l will have to go back again to do it justice.
