Keswick Mountain Festival

After last night's gig, we thought it best to book onto one of the later starts for the 10Km trail race. So we had booked the 12 noon start. By 11.30 sitting on the Keswick Launch, we were beginning to doubt our logic, the sun was beating down and it was seriously hot.

It was a tough run - and Deb's first trail race in almost two years. The actual route measured at almost 11 Km, the finish line had moved a lot from last years event, which at the end of a hot run, wasn't good! Still, from 437 starters, I finished 128th, and Deb 184th. So we were very pleased with our result.
It's the first year I am categorised as "vintage" and finished 12th of the vintage runners.
