Summer “Snow”

On my way into yoga I noticed a yew appearing as if covered in snow. On the way out I discovered a thick drift of cottonwood seeds. (Extra1). Main photo shows clover and extra includes a dandelion for wildflower entries.

Extra 2 is a collage of some of the flowers currently blooming in our yard, clockwise from top left:
1) albino centaurea, aka bachelor’s buttons or cornflower (for theBroon)
2) asclepias tuberosa, aka butterfly weed, SOOC
3) digitalis aka foxglove and spirea
4) baptismia
5) elderberry blooms and serviceberry berries
6) Kalmia aka mountain laurel
