Work of Art

This incredible rock face is really quite a work of art in itself. It’s part of the escarpment that can be seen when you’re looking to the west at Mt Blackheath. I decided to zoom in on it to see how the new camera would perform. I have added an image of the wide angle that I took to start with and the end result at full 600mm zoom. Hmmmmm............ Not bad I reckon!!

It’s been another day to bunker down today and the wind has been blowing all day bar about half an hour late this afternoon. I think we find the wind more unsettling than rain really and it’s much cosier in front of the fire. It was good to get out for a while though and after a quick sprint to the shops for some provisions it was back to the hollow.
