Lunch

We decided to have lunch out today, so after meeting Ann at the Blue Cross we went to Pret for a coffee, it was busy and Ann's coffee was not up to her high expectation, then onto The Red Lion in the town centre for lunch. It was busy there too but we had a nice table by the window with a good view of the traffic on the gyratory. They have quite a nice garden next to the canal where people can dine too, though it was a bit autumnal for that.

I had a very acceptable Asian Style Veggie Burger, Ann had Sweet Potato and Feta Lasagne, not impressed.

With a nod to the fact that this is Father's Day weekend Ann took a pic of me and my burger. I also had a nice pint of Doom Bar, just out of the picture.

Spoilt for sport this afternoon, cricket from Cardiff, rugby from Johannesburg and tennis from Nottingham.
