Let’s Party

I always enjoy Totton and Eling Carnival, not simply for its fun atmosphere but more for its community support. And the traditional procession reflects just how strong that is with crowds of sightseers lining the route long before the floats passed by.

Appropriately, this year’s theme was Party On Down and was intended to show off how many organisations party in the town. Disco, Bunting, Glitter, and Glam  . . . it was all there.

The Totton Carnival Committee has a reputation for being responsible for many community fundraising events throughout the year in the town designed to bring the community together.

Today’s procession certainly did that.
