Painted Lady

One of the butterfly world long-distance migrants, at least on this side of the Atlantic. This one was keen on one little patch of our daisies but in Britain each year they cross the Channel afresh having started in North Africa. With the Summer we have had so far, I am surprised it hasn't turned around and headed back to Morocco.
