Snot of the Antarctic

A local farmer used his tractor with the digger attachment to clear the further dumping of snow we had overnight from the council maintained road this morning. Our track is still blocked, however. Hubby is out there right now along with my brother and dad digging it out so we can go to work tomorrow (and so my brother can get home later as he was snowbound here overnight). Grace is still teething and very snotty, so would probably have preferred to stay indoors. She seemed not to mind an amble along the road once she saw the tractor/digger in action though. She doesn't quite know what to make of all this snow. The piles on the roadside are taller than she is.

More snowy photos HERE.

edit: What a day!

Good points: my brother and I made a sledging run down our hill out the back of the farm. FUN! (Grace is too young for such shenannigans yet, but you're never too old!); Hubby managed to go snowboarding for a time.

Bad points: It took 4 hours to dig out the track and then four of us to get the car out the garage...and then the car got stuck on the way back into the track, and then my brother accidentally pranged the car on the quad bike. More car trouble, oh no!
