The Grand Brighton Hotel

Wasn't really sure what to expect of Brighton, but what a city it is!  A bit of a  mix of London, Scarborough and Hebden Bridge I thought!  Beautiful buildings, intriguing history, a lung cleansing beach and much arty fartiness.  
The Grand Brighton Hotel here, having undergone renovation, you may remember it from the bomb at the Conservative conference back in 1984. 
And what an indulgent building that Pavilion is, too beautiful a day to go inside though as the beach was alluring in the sunshine.  
Met a young couple in 'The King's Head' in Upper Beeding yesterday evening and what do you know, of all the places and people in Brighton we bumped in to them again today!
Footy on the go..... I do like that Gareth and wish the young chaps well.  And I'm still on the look out for my favourite strip of the tournament :D
