Sunday: Beachcombing

I'd typed up a full text but lost it all so here's a snapshot instead:

- walk down to Botanical Beach for low tide:
- a look at the jetty in Port Renfrew just in time to hear the fire sirens go off and see all the volunteers return in their boats at speed;
- Avatar Grove where we saw Canada's gnarliest tree (apparently);
- saw a bear in a field but it was so far away you'll have to take my word for it;
- stumbled across an indigenous graveyard - very secluded and beautifully spiritual;
- drinks and barbecue on our beautiful balcony
