Monday: Surfers

We checked out of our accommodation this morning and started the drive back to Swartz Bay for the ferry to Vancouver. En route, though, we stopped off at Sombrio Beach and China Beach, both fabulous and very different. Sombrio was quiet and remote, China was much more expansive and full of life.

We caught the ferry back to the mainland this afternoon and got back to a little Barney who was desperate to go out. Local pub for dinner - that seemed like the easiest option.
