Special
Rain, wind, me in my bike rain gear, IPhone in my pocket and around the corner of the southwest corner of Lake Union I spotted this native canoe. It was moving fast - I sped across a foot bridge, down a path and out a dock to quickly shoot - he called out hello and I called back "beautiful boat". The photo is blurred - but truly, a native American man with long hair streaming out of a headband, paddling beautifully in the wind in a traditional canoe with native painted carvings on the sides. - What a sight!
In this corner park, sadly, most native American men who are around are homeless and alcoholic - so this IS special.
