Let There Be Light

Had the first cataract surgery today - I had no idea the "patch" would be so big. Tomorrow morning will be the unveiling - fingers crossed of course. Two years ago when I had my annual I asked my doctor to please turn the lights on the chart for my right eye, that they were turned much lower than when I read it with my left. He laughed of course and informed me that the difference was due to ------what I now think of as a brownish haze---cataract.
