Wide Angle Wednesday - Palermo Cathedral

After much discussion we decided to come to Palermo despite my hate of cities.   Driving here was easier than expected and we found a motorhome camping ground (aka car park) within walking distance of the centre.

The duomo was very interesting as was the opera house which featured in the last scenes of Godfather 3.

However the most interesting place we visited was the catacombs which is not for the faint hearted.

It contains hundreds and hundreds of fully clothed bodies hanging from the walls.   Really creepy but fascinating.
