Castlebay

Today is the first day since we came away that it hasn’t rained.  It’s been a bit  cloudy but the sun came out this afternoon and it was very pleasant.

We have liked Barra.  Maybe It's because of the weather but it is very pretty with stunning beaches

Tomorrow we are catching the early ferry to Oban.  It’s a 5 hour crossing and apparently the boat is famous for its instability.  A local told us that it is known locally as “The Sick Bag”  Oh joy!

This pretty castle is in the harbour at Castlebay where we cycled for a meal this evening.
