Foxgloves

Thought I'd finished the painting in the 'Music room' for now, but no - on looking at yesterday's efforts in daylight, it became apparent that another coat was needed. So that was this morning's job! Then some domestic stuff and a few little admin. jobs, before looking at our website with a view to restructuring it.

An early evening walk with MrM - the one we had planned for yesterday. From the Common, we went up the Forestry Commission track to the top of the woods, and over to 'Michael's bench'. Never before seen so many foxgloves in flower at once - they lined the track all the way to the top, and there were lots in the woods too. Fabulous! We saw no squirrels, but spotted a large barn owl hunting four times in two locations - whether it was the same one each time we have no idea.
