30 Days Wild - 20 - Dactylorhiza purpurella
Following on from yessterday's Common Spotted Orchid, I'm blipping a Northern Marsh Orchid today.
As we do on alternate Wednesdays, The Man, The Bro-in-Law and I went off to a garden centre. Before we went in we had a wander around a rough area of land to the edge of the premises. The Swan and cygnets weren't easily visible as they sat on their nest but I knew if I looked I would find some orchids.
These are a stumpy, boldly coloured variety, I much prefer the more delicate Common Spotted ones!
The Extra shows the effort some blippers go to to get a blip. This is Kanyl (The Bro-in-Law), I wonder if he will use the shot as a blip?
